Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace is great example of Rajput architecture.
There are many many temples and a special attraction of this place is a natural spring which flows down from the top of the hill. The water of this spring fills many kunds or water tanks which are considered very sacred.
Located on the mighty Aravalli Range, Nahargarh Fort offers spectacular views of the city of Jaipur. Once upon a time, the fort was part of the city’s three-point defense strategy, which included the Amer Fort and the Jaigarh Fort as well.
Rugged in design and structurally similar in design to Amer Fort, the fort is also known as Vijay Fort. The fort has a cannon called "Jayvana" (Jaywana Cannon), which was built in the fort's premises and was then the world's largest cannon on wheels.
The Royal Gator Tumbas is exactly what it sounds like - a mausoleum for several Maharajas. The site is situated in a cove among several desert foothills below the Nahargarh Fort and in truth, it feels neglected and undiscovered.

Naresh, the Driver is a courteous, reliable, and efficient person. It was easy for me to get from point A to point B in the shortest time possible in Jaipur. I was impress of his ability to move through the traffic. If it is possible, he would use parallel streets to get away from the noise while arriving faster. He is open to provide other types of information which could provide to the customer large savings by bringing his passengers to shops which do not have in mind to get the largest profit possible. I recommend to use his service, you will surely not be disappointed. You might go back to Jaipur just to have a chat with him because he is really a friendly person.
I am college student and I am girl and also I’m concerned about alone so I searched about Jaipur sightseeing on the Internet and I found him. I send email him and he replied soon. I don’t know much about Jaipur so I follow his suggestion. All places which he take me were so good. Of course , I went to sightseeing spots but I could go to local textile and jewelry shops and visit minor places and I could enjoying having lunch and tea with him. I could also enjoy talking with him. Thanks to him, I could spend having awesome time at Jaipur. He is so kind and treats me with high hospitality. Thank you a lot from bottom of my heart. Naresh was our driver for 1.5 days whilst in Jaipur. He is an extremely nice and helpful guy whose English skills are far beyond that of most other drivers we've met. Therefore, he could tell us a lot of interesting things about the city, India and everything we desired. He even took us to his home in a little village just outside the city, where he prepared us lunch and we could chill out for a while. I can strongly recommend him to anyone eager to learn something while on the way to the next sightseeing spot!
We got in contact with Naresh through friends of us in Holland, so we contacted him in advance. He picked us up with his tuktuk from our hotel and showed us the sights around Jaipur for a whole day. He explained us in advance what was the best sequence to get around and to avoid the crouds as much as possible. He is a very carefull driver, speaks very good and understandable english, is very kind and funny. What more do you want? The next evening we went together for dinner as he knows good and inexpensive places to eat. We had a very nice evening together. So if you plan to visit Jaipur you should contact him and have a good time.
We accidentally met Naresh on our first night in Jaipur, and needless to say we enjoyed the rest of the two days exploring Jaipur with site seeing and best shopping experience. He was very accommodating of our random plans and even suggested us some great places. On our last day he even got us Biriyani which we enjoyed eating in the tuktuk. We thought our last stop in Jaipur could be tiring, but it was Naresh who made us feel safe and took us around the city on our own pace. Totally recommend him
My friend and I spent the day looking around Jaipur with Naresh. It was a great experience. It was very chilled and Naresh took us to everywhere we wanted to go (including the train station to book a train). There was no pressure to go anywhere or buy anything. We had a lovely lunch at a place he recommended and had lots of nice chats. Would definitely recommend.
